Quality Control
Quality Control - Ensuring Every Roll Forming Machine Is Accurate, Durable, and Production-Ready
At J&R, we place the highest priority on quality control throughout the manufacturing process to ensure every piece of roll forming machine - whether a purlin machine, gutter machine, guardrail machine, or cold roll former - meets the strictest standards for performance, safety, and long-term reliability.
Raw Material Verification
All incoming steel and mechanical components are inspected for compliance with mechanical strength, surface condition, and dimensional tolerance to ensure they meet design specifications.
CNC Machining Precision Control
Critical forming tools, including rollers and shafts, are machined with tight tolerances on CNC equipment, followed by dimensional inspections to ensure uniform pressure distribution and consistent profiles.
Heat Treatment and Surface Hardening Check
Forming rollers and structural parts requiring wear resistance undergo heat treatment, with hardness tests and surface inspections conducted to confirm process effectiveness.
Assembly and Alignment Verification
All machines are assembled by experienced technicians following detailed work instructions, with shaft alignment, frame integrity, and mechanical clearances thoroughly checked at each stage.
Electrical and Control System Testing
Control cabinets, PLC systems, and user interfaces are tested for wiring accuracy, signal stability, and logical operation, ensuring safe and smooth machine functionality under all conditions.
Trial Run with Actual Material
Each finished machine undergoes a full-capacity trial run using real production material to validate profile accuracy, hole alignment (if applicable), and speed/load stability under working conditions.
Tolerance and Profile Accuracy Inspection
Finished products are measured against the technical drawings using gauges and coordinate measuring tools to ensure that cross-section shape, hole position, and length tolerance meet strict requirements.
Safety Mechanism and Protection Check
Emergency stops, overload protection, guarding systems, and operation panels are tested to confirm that all safety mechanisms work correctly before shipment.
Final Pre-Delivery Audit
A comprehensive inspection checklist is completed before packing, covering mechanical, electrical, and operational aspects, with all records documented for traceability and customer reference.
